Last try to get charity tournaments @pokerstars

I been nagging about charity tournaments for ages now. This will be my last plea to get this somehow done. People think that it needs big money to make chance, but it really doesn´t. For example when I make 100 $ withdrawal from pokerstars I can bake a lot for kids at school here who can´t afford a snack. It is little things like that that make difference in the world. Not just cause few kids get a snack but maybe in long run that kid will remember that someone did this to him/her and when he/she has chance he/she will do the same.

We could run my original idea from earlier post with daily charity tournaments. I also have another idea so we could try if this would work (I know it would). Lets makes Charity Poker League that would run first maybe for 1 week. With buy in of 1.25$ where 0.15$ for charity. Also give people who play double VPPs to make it more appealing. Make it with leaderboard with tickets as prizes for leaderboard top finishers. To make this even more appeling lets get the Pros involved, Pros playing at microstakes with us common people would get much more people interested. Also we can add bounty for each pro maybe to 5$ and from that 5$ the person who knock out the pro would get 3$ and charity 2$. Make these league tournaments fit people from all regions and get as many Pros involved as possible. I know they can make time for good cause.

Lets give this one chance and I and many others would be forever grateful. I have gotten so much good feedback from player about playing charity and now I hope that Pokerstars would reply to me about this also.

What additions to have in PokerStars tournaments?

Haven´t been writing so much for while. Been trying up my game and that way up my bankroll after 200$ withdrawal. been wondering about some fun additions to Pokerstars tournament. Of course first would be my earlier idea about doing charity with poker. (you can read all about it from post earlier).

Now to new ideas. I would love to have men vs women tournaments. for example STG with 90 men and 90 women. Heads up man vs woman all the way to the end. Many other variations could be made also, league men vs women with different kind of tourneys. I think this would bring some fun and lot of talk in twitter and here. I think many men think they run over us women on those tourneys (I doubt that very much). Get some Pros playing also on both sides maybe few Pros / tourney.

Also I would like more of these series for the community, like WBCOOP. First of all those create loads of talk, you learn alot and most importantly I have noticed that behaviour on these tournaments is so so much better than in regular tournaments. On WBCOOP I made more poker buddies in day than otherwise in all my time playing. I think everyone agrees we need more these community tournaments.

You guys in Pokerstars keep maybe track about who is tweeting about tourneys and about Pokerstars? Maybe star a miniseries for those who are active in Twitter for Pokerstars. Would create fun and exiting event. Lot of great ppl there supporting you guys.

Please leave comments what you would like to add. Maybe they come true!!

Lets create more fun and excitement.

What kind of Poker Legacy to have @pokerstars or @888poker

Lately the world has taken a spin to worse again. Boston bombing earthquakes and everything in between. This has even more made me desire to mark my PokerLegacy. I do not want to be remembered as Great Player, but as a person who cared and wanted to use her time for making a difference.
My last few post were all about this Charity Poker. response was great from people, but sadly NO PoekrSite has wanted to use the idea. I actually can´t understand why, since the idea does not need amazing amount of work or basically any investment. So I ask one more time if anyone would take this idea and run with it. We could help so many people all around the world.

Ask yourself this, if any day you are in need, would you not want there be some charitys who cared about you if you then don´t have money yourself. Come on lets do good and enjoy doing it!!

Thank you

I need someones help to help others.

It has been few days now since posted my blogg about charity poker tournaments. Feedback has been great but still have not drawn interest on pokersites. I wish I was rich and famous so I would be taken more serious easier. But desire to help should not be overlooked even if person wanting to help is not rich. I urge someone to step forward who can make this happen, there is so many in the world who need our help.

Reach out, be part of changing lives of many children around the world.

I just wanna add and make sure everyone understand, I am not doing this to get personal gain. I just want someone to help me to help others. Lets change the world one step at the time.

Thank you

Follow up with numbers to charity poker @pokerstars

Here is some numbers I came up with. Please share your thoughts.

BUY IN
AMOUNT TO CHARITY/BUY IN
NUBER OF PLAYERS
TOTAL AMOUNT TO CHARITY
AMOUNT / WEEK FOR DAILY TOURNEY
1.20$
0.10$
10 000
1 000$
7 000$
2.40$
0.20$
8 000
1 600$
11 200$
3.60$
0.30$
6 000
1 800$
12 600$
4.80$
0.40$
5 000
2 000$
14 000$
6.00$
0.50$
4 000
2 000$
14 000$

With these kind of buy in we would be in grand total of 58 800$ / week. I know it is optimistic to get so many players but even if half amount of players we still would be in almost 30 000$ / week. And with just 10% of players in that calculation we still have over 5 000$ / week. These numer prove that a lot of good could be done through this kind of charity and if Pokerstars would give 2x or 3x FPP from buy in to these, I think lot of players would show up.

I know it takes some effort from any poker room to arrange these kinda things but if they run daily on same spot only one time set up is needed?

Thank you

Would you play charity tournaments @pokerstars???

I been thinking a lot about charity and helping others. Sadly I have no funds for this. This is reason I send email to Pokerstars if they could help me with this. We all live in this small spot in Universe.
My idea for them was to organize Charity tournaments, for example, normal 1,10$ tournament but buy in would be 1,20$ instead and from that a 0,10$/player would be donated to that weeks charity. Of course bigger buy in tournaments would also use same calculation for donations.  I know this would not create Millions. But it would do some good.
To encourage players to take part in these tournaments Pokerstars could offer for example 3xFPPs from these tournaments. Charitys could be chosen by weekly poll where Pokerstars would provide maybe 5 different charitys and followers on twitter would vote for them. Most votes and that charity would be charity of the week. Also every week Pokerstars can do raffle between all voters and winners get tickets or FPPs. Also could have competition for for charity player of the month, not by how many dollars but how many charity tournaments each player has played.
This way all of us in poker community could be part of something important while playing game we love. Wouldn´t you feel great to know by playing poker you helped some child in Africa to have fresh water? Or maybe some kid in somewhere in world getting that important medicine he/she needs.
So anyone who read this and cares, please share this to everyone who plays poker. lets make this happen!!!

Thank you

General talk about poker @pokerstars

Lets talk about “rag” aces. I see it so many times when people overplay their rag aces like A 5 off suit and similar. I find this quite interesting, considering that most of time someone in 9 player table has better Ace. So if there is A on table many get so excited about their A 5 that they fail to see fact that they are most certainly beaten.
I find these situations very often profitable and very comforting for me. For example I never play anything off suit under A J, unless I have temporary insanity.

Sometimes for sure you get your AK beaten by rag ace, but on the long run you end up in top. My advice if you use tracking software is to mark these guys who play these aces often and find them every day the play. I have started noticing these patterns of rag ace and high connector players from EP and have taken advantage of them in micro cash games.

Then I wanna talk about STGs. I love 9 player STGs, even though haven´t played for while. I been trying to study that game to become a real “Bubble Ninja”

I set my goal to bubble everytime, cause in that situation even with little smaller stack you will get a lot of chips juts due to fact that most get afraid in bubble. Until then my image has been really tight but when bubble arrives all changes for me, then it is game on and trust me I will break that bubble.

But also be prepared to go out few times in bubble cause you will get donk called sometimes by hyper aggressive players (you should have spotted them by now though and know to avoid them). When time comes for those bad bad beats just repeat the mantra Nice Hand Sir and keep in mind what it really means.

And remember when you read, I do not know anything about poker yet. So please have patience and give me pointers. I will be happy for any help.

See you at the tables

What actually are premium hands @pokerstars??

I wanna start talking about those so illusive premium hands. I before thought that QQ was a great starting hand but I have come to notice that in internet poker it is quite worthless at least in MTTs. In MTT tournaments 90% of the time if table has A or K your QQ is done and this is I think due to the fact that A + anything seems very valued at least in microstakes. Also K J and KT are played preflop very very often even after re-raise. I have now come to different way of playing my MTTs. In beginning of the tourney I noticed that middle connectors on cheap flop make your stack skyrocket since so many slowplay their premium hands. I love nothing more than seeing the flop with price of BB with my TJ suited (love that hand btw) and then cracking someones Aces cause they wanted slowplay by limping with AA.

Then I wanna talk about this next picture.
I LOVE AA, not quite true in MTTs. I have tried many ways of playing the AA in MTTs and I noticed slowplay will end your day. So I have started to play them hard and fast so I can avoid situation in next picture.

Cracked Aces. This is painfull thing to experience but I have noticed that more often cracked Aces are due to own bad play. Trying milk everything out of hand by slowplay and getting people to the hand who should not be there. If you have done this (like I have) then look in mirror like I did. I often got mad at people cracking my Aces, but they often only did so cause I allowed them.

Then lets have a little word about AK!!

The Big Slick, or like I love to call it Anna Kournikova (looks great but don´t win without help). How many times I have cursed this hand (I do not know). So often my QQ or JJ gets killed by this hand and so often I can´t kill QQ or JJ with this hand. In online poker I have noticed HUGE difference in winning rate between early tournament and late tournament. In beginning of tournament I started treating this hand with extra care and later I usually play it hard.

So to sum up my tactic for MTTs. Early I wanna see flops flops flops as long as they are cheap. Also I wanna handle my "premium" hands (whatever those might be) with care, cause early in micro MTTs your aces will get called with absolutely nothing and often by multiple players. Later in tourney I am gonna start taking advantage on peoples joy of getting to the money and let them ship their chips my way.

As you may notice I am very novice about talking poker, so please do not laugh and try understand. I love this game and that is why I want spread converstation about it here and hoping to get tips from you more experienced readers.

Back in business @pokerstars after baby girls Christening

So now time to start grinding again at pokerstars after little Talyshas christening.
As you can see little Talysha has been growing a lot and she is the happiest baby I ever seen, of course prettiest also as all own babies are. Now me and little baby are to grind some tourneys and cash games.

My goals for April are very simple, cash in 2nd anniversary SundayStorm and boost my bankroll to new heights. Also will study poker more and finally finish all quizzes at Pokerschool (not so easy for me). I been thinking of new ways to play MTT´s I often seem to go out because being too passive and then getting outdrawn when I am holding AA or KK. So this in mind in beginning of tournaments I will try see more flops and play my chances with aggression. Trying of course keep my mind in focus not getting over aggressive.

I also will try this situation happening when getting a bad beat. I will just say "Nice hand Sir" and keep on focusing. If anyone very good poker player will wanna be my coach I be very happy about it. I will find a way to cash in more tournaments and raise my game to whole new level.

MIcroMillions event 1 and 2

MicroMillion-001: $0,11+R NL Hold´em [Hyper-Active, $15K Gtd]
As excpeted this was hectic, panicky and fast. I had to make rebyus worth 0.60$ thn after add-on had 24K chips and was sitting quite comfortable. Deck was very very cold and finally got myself with A T suited and did little raise and real aggressos of the table shoved all-in as in so many hands before. I called and he had A 2 off. But he hit 2 on flop and I hit nada and out I went.

MicroMillion-002: $1+R NL Hold´em [3xTurbo, $150K Gtd]
This one started little weird since most of the table was sitting out. Played 3 handed and were taking chips from guys sitting out. Then one of guys decided he wanna steal my blinds every round. That made it possible for me to make nice headway and I survived until add-on, after add-on was sitting with 44K chips. There was not much happening after add-on I was chilling and waiting my time. Then it came in form of A 7 suited checked to my BB and flop was 7 5 8 with 2 diamonds like my A 7, so habby having top pair with top kicker and nut flush draw blids were allready 800/1600. I knew this was my time to earn some chips. I shoved (I know maybe shouldn´t have) 2 callers. One with K high flushdraw (dominated) and other with T J off. I knew then that I got this, well I did until turn 9 but still I was hoping that one diamond but never came and out I was again.
Really actually enjoyed the fast pace of these crazy hyper active insanity turbos. Gonna play some more of these for suuuuuure.

#WBCOOP Main Event and other interesting happenings @pokerstars

So last night was the Main Event in WBCOOP gladly I was in it. It was an ok start for me went up slowly and ended up doubling after 1st break. Had great table, very nice people very nice to play in. I ended up leaking chips and finally Busted in 213th place without cash. straight vs better straight. Overall I loved this series so so so much. Won total of 5 tickets 1x 5.50$, 2 x 11$ and 2x16.50$ Overall great great result for total rookie like me. This is so far schedule for my tickets, 16,50 tickets for SCOOP have to wait :)

#WBCOOP -27 NLHE turbo @pokerstars

That is scene from first table. Having hard time waking up, played SaturdayMicro until 1 am last night and now paying the prize. Micro was good tournament tho, made 10.13$ went out with my A 8 vs K 8, gotta love that river hehehe.

WBCOOP -27 started slowly thankfully due to my sleepyness, or maybe I was just so sleepy that it seemed slow?? Doubleup with 8888 made things more alive for me tho. Aftert that it was just keeping blinds and stealing them for while. I MISS COFFEE so bad.
Doubled to top 12 just before the bubble.
Finally busted out in 25th with 16,50$ ticket. Since I HATE turbos this result is really great to me. Now I will nap with my little baby.
Big love for Pokerstars again.

#WBCOOP event 21 shootout @pokerstars

First table was kinda quick, 3 players and 1 was sitting out and other hyper aggressive. I just took my time and took aggressive guy out then procedeed with taking out guy sitting out (not so difficult just had to wait).

Ended up in place 45 with T K vs T A, T on flop. VERY VERY happy with my 11$ ticket that I can use for Sunday storm special edition :D

#WBCOOP event 18 PLO turbo

So here it is my first peek at tournament omaha or any omaha :D Thins should be fun for everyone involved hahaha. I truly do not have much clue what I am doing at this table.

In first 15 minutes gone from 3000 to 3 700 chip, no idea how. Because this is turbo also doen´t allow me to learn much with time need to figure this out on da fly. I like it tho.

This sign says it all for me now hahahaha. Getting trashtalked about time I take before decisions, Too bad can´t make snap decisions since no experience in this game :(

Survived until first break with 3800 chip and 3 more to go for ticket :)

So there it is place 31 and ticket worth 16.5$ from first ever omaha tournament. I am really happy. Busted out with K high flush vs A high no pairs on board so felt good.

#WBCOOP event 15 6-max NLHE @pokerstars

WBCOOP event 15 was rollercoaster for me. Did not play very well but with great help of my table mates play clocks I was able to score 11$ so thank you for them. Waiting for next event while collecting micromillions tickets from FPP STGs.

#WBCOOP Event -13 4-Max NLHE @Pokerstars

First time playing 4-max tournament. Until first break tried to figure out best strategy for the game and in that break was sitting with 3500 chips (started with 3000). During second hour found my groove little bit ended up with 4800 on second break. Right after the break hit AA just called since so aggressive players on my table guy on my left raised right away, folded to me I re-raised and he instashoved with QQ I called and went +7000 on chips. Few min later I was finding good aggression for this game had 10 9 on BB called to me, I checked and board was 7 10 6 so I had top pair and straightdraw. Only 4 players on table so I calculated that chance of another 10 was very small I bet double the pot, one guy called. On river 2 so I shoved cause figured I have the best hand. One guy called after little thought and Showed 10 J and I was out with smaller kicker. Placed 138 I think and no ticket this time.

Hunt for the 95th billionth hand @pokerstars

My grind started on 2 tables oh NLHE 0,02/0,05 when there was 14 million hands to go. Was playing good in my opinion, never took downswing so I would have been under the buy-in for the table. When 2 million hands was left regged to on NLHE 0,05/0,10 table was just playing nice and easy. Then the 95th billionth hand was getting ever so close. For my sadness noticed it is being delt in another table. Even add insult to injury Hand I won then was hand number 95 billion and 30!!!!! even took picture of it.

I guess that is less than half second away for me. But I found happiness inside me for those who won. It is always beautiful to see people get something and be so happy about it.

Then next when woke up and opened twitter and I saw my name being mentioned by Pokerstars in this message.

So I had won 500 FPPs on Friday giveaway. That made me forget the milestone little bit. Then I started browsing my available tickets to reg for WBCOOP and to my shock I saw that I have ticket for WBCOOP mainevent. Ofcourse I registered as fast as I ever could.

So in the end it was another great at Pokerstars, not just cause giveaways but earned some dollars in cash games and had great time with great people.

Little Talysha doing her morning bath. Future Ruler @pokerstars

This is the face of future poker champion and Philippines next singing sensation. If you see her on tables run while you can, she feels no mercy.

Sunday tournaments @pokerstars

Played 2 major tourneys on sunday night #WBCOOP event 7 and SundayMillion last chance qualifier. In #WBCOOP I played the worst poker in long time. Eventual hand that got me out was my QJ suited with Q 8 5 on flop short stack so shoved  he had A K and hit A on turn. Bad play from me I know.

Then Sundaymillion qualifier tournament started weird, I lost 10 % of my stack even before got cards due to some server issues at pokerstars (professional workers there fixed it quick tho). Then made a miracle triple up with forced all in from BB with A 5 vs his A J hit full house. Then worken up to +10 000 chips and then mr freeze hit my cards and got eaten by blinds in the end. 38 000 ish players ended in 2600 with 1800 available. Had great day at tables.

Microstakes cash games kinda saved my mood, ended up being 44$ up on day ( I know it is not big money but for me it actually is ). My God I love this game.

BUST in #WBCOOP -7 @pokerstars

Really early bust on WBCOOP. Had JJ made standard bet, one after me reraised one called and I called. Flop was great to me 9 6 3 made 210 bet got raised (was thinking AK since he called 2 raises preflop) turn comes another 9, small bet, raised and I shove. He shows 9 7 and out I was. Gonna be cheering others on this tournament.

Back on ticket hunt in #WBCOOP -7 @pokerstars

This is the scene from first table of WBCOOP event number 7.

I hope that this one turns out to be as enjoyable as last one. Just wishing I can this time score a bigger ticket. Also hope that @Lane_Anderson will be on twitter again as on event 1. Had great offtable talk in twitter.

Love and Hate relationship with AA

Today had mixed feelings with "amazing" AA firs was my AA, I limped on early position waiting for raise, raise came from button to 0.45$ (I know laughable blinds I play at 0.002/0.05$) I re-raised to 1.14$. Button raised again all-in (he had 4$ I had 13.5$) ofcourse I snap called. So card are revealed and I am so happy to see 99, until the river hits with another 9. Ofcourse as in good manner he left the table right away. So that was my AA cracked.

Then 2 hands after that got QQ, made small bet preflop, one caller. he had button, flop was Q A 2 I checked with my set, he made 0,35 bet I just called. Turn was 7 all rainbow on board so I was feeling great and checked again to him. He made bet of 1$ (he had then 3$ left). I waited for while "thinking" and re-raised him all-in. He folded after thinking almost time of the clock. Got some money back there.

Now few hands later I was sitting with 14$ (won few small pots). Then again on early position I got AA and allready was thinking oh my. This time I bet 0.35$ and player straight to my left snap raised to 2$ (he had 12.3$). ofc everyone else folded at that point. I took few sec to think and raised to 6$ and he snapped again and went all-in, I snap called and he showed QQ vs my AA. Board was all under 9 and with that big pot (for my stakes) I refound my love of Aces.

Todays no sleep schedule @Pokerstars

So here is my sunday night schedule with tournaments.
Sunday Spark at 5 pm
WBCOOP event 7 at 11 pm
SundayMillion qualifier at 2:30 am
SundayStorm at 2:30 am

Goals for tonight are quite easy, getting on money on every tournament. THE BIG BIG GOAL tho is end up in top 1000 in that SundayMillion qualifier. Would be dream come true to play on that event.

Morning grind @pokerstars hunting for milestone :)

Morning grind started with 2 cash games and one tournamet 1.10 $ tourney, cash games ofc my microstakes 0.02/0,05$

Collecting dollar slowly but surely but went out of the tournament with AK ( I never seem to hit it). here is pic from after few more mins hunting for milestone.

So doing quite ok in both tables. been hitting rivers alot when people slow play and check their aces or kings. I never understood checking high pair all the way to river then raise when board is full of draws. But I am new to this game so maybe I learn that (maybe better not to learn lol).

#WBCOOP event -5 @pokerstars

Here is the next WBCOOP event I will play.

Considering how amazing first event was I am really really looking forward to this one. I hope many of same people will be there,

Beauty of playing poker @pokerstars

If someone told me few months ago that I would be head over heels in love with game of online poker, I would have probably (wonder if I got that word correct) rolled my eyes. But to be honest I have not met in any community so many fun and interesting people. last nights WBCOOP proved it again with playing and live tweeting with fellow players like , who also has great blogg here http://fastlanepoker.blogspot.com/ . Ofcourse sometimes you just hate this game but then usually this helps.

Not happened to me yet ;)

So guestion is do I love it for the wins?? Yes somewhat but it is the game itself, studying it and getting to know people. I am not sure if people who play this game just for money can ever get same satisfaction out of it? But for me it is the love of the game that drives me to play and learn, will I ever be good player? Only time will tell, but untill then I keep enjoying every hand I play.

RESULT of #WBCOOP -1 @pokerstars

My playing went up and down. Played only one hand bad and dropped to 5000 chips, tripled up 2 hands later and ended up busting out at 97th place from BB with KK against AA. Got ticket worth 5.50 USD that I can later on use on one of these micromillions events.

TY AGAIN POKERSTARS

First real yum yum at WBCOOP @pokerstars

That felt oh so good. Got second aces 2 hands later but not much action. So badly miss coffee with CAFFEIN. Only 6 months of breastfeeding beautiful baby Talysha then I get my coffee back hehehe

Birthday present from Pokerstars

There I was playin 0,05/0,10 USD NLHE and was keeping my hope alive to get to milestone hand on my Bday. Odds of that happening are not big. Then this happened

Ofcourse you can imagine I looked something like this!!

Thank you Pokerstars.

30 years young

So today is that magical day when I turn 30. I sence that according to real world I should feel old. So happy that I dont´t consider living in real world.

My loving husband keeps also feeding my illusion about my eternal youth, by telling me that I don´t look day older than 18. What a sweet liar he is.

So I have concluded that I celebrate my 18th birthday again and again.

WBCOOP

So here we go, here is the list of first WBCOOP tournaments I have registered. I have a good feeling about seats to tournaments coming my way.

This is how baby Talysha reacted to the news. I can´t determine is that a happy grin or just sneaky grin saying "My mommy is gonna win" ???

Will keep updating with results here. Good and bad!
